This one is interesting, I began writing this when I was feeling sad and depressed, but I finished it when everything was resolved and began getting better again. I stuck to the main theme, but let’s see if my mood at the time can be seen through my writing. To make it more difficult, I listened to an upbeat song the whole time I was writing the ending. Can you tell the difference? Comment if you can tell.
Tired of being sad
You’re everything I wish I had
Unsaid emotion churning…yearning
Things always turning out bad
Finally said it, I don’t regret it
But why do I still feel the same
Darkness arising, same old despising
But the hatred now turns into shame.
Haven’t slept in days
I have a souless gaze
Lost in the confusion, suffering from delusion
Hoping this is just a bad phase
Thoughts clouded because of you
Losing sense, sanity few
But in the end
You somehow knew…
so can you tell? But I hope this game hasn’t taken away any of the “magic” of the poem. Hope you like it.

Eish. I really should be writing my 400 word essay, but I just couldn’t resist : P
But nvm that….
Hey Travis
Glad to see you’re back. The ‘ole blog is awfully quiet without you. lol
Ooh. Love this part:
Haven’t slept in days
I have a souless gaze
That ’souless gaze’ part describes the feeling so gorgeously. And no, I couldn’t tell that your mood changed between the beginning and the end of the poem.

Thanks for the compliment about the whole rhyme scheme thing, but the only reason that it looks complex is because the rhyme scheme is pretty non-existent : P It’s, like, only an after-thought, I’m afraid. I just can’t get into the habit of just making it rhyme. You, on the other hand, manage that perfectly.
Yes, I am feeling a lot better since I wrote the last poem, thanks. That poem was actually the beginning of my feeling better.
Well, happy to have seen you again. If this can be classified as seeing you : P
And I look forward to whatever it was you’re working on and were hinting about in your last comment.
/me grins
Talk again soon, hopefully
